Moving Day

MLK weekend was celebrated by us moving to Flowery Branch, GA.  The weekend was made EXTRA exciting (sarcasm sign being held up) by Mother Nature dumping ~8 inches of snow on North Georgia.  We weren't sure if we were going to be able to move at all, but through wind and rain, snow and ice, the moving truck must move on!  Oh yeah, did I mention Tim got  a flat tire?  Moving was made MUCH easier (no sarcasm here) by our awesome friends and family who helped us.  We could not thank them enough for their love, support, and for walking up 3 flights of stairs with moving boxes.  Thank you with all of our hearts: Chris, Penny, Austin, Sarah, Davey, my Dad, Liz, Michael, and Jeremy, and to all those who wanted to help but were unable.  Enjoy these pics from the weekend!

The day ended with Austin, Liz, Tim, and I trying to enjoy our hot tub, but alas, it was chained shut :(. Red solo cups and sticking our feet into our big bath tub was somewhat of a consolation.

  1. Hooray for sarcasm signs! Tim needs to design one for you to insert in your blog. Much funnier.
