Father's Day Photo Shoot

We met my family at Piedmont Park in Atlanta and went to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate Father's Day.  My sister had her camera and we ended up doing an impromptu photo shoot.  It resulted in some...interesting...photos.

Photo preface:  While attending a hospital orientation a couple weeks ago, we got to meet several people that offered pregnancy care such as prenatal massage, birthing attendant's, birth classes, etc.  We met some kooky people but by far there was one doula that just was off the kooky chart in our book.  While scouring Awkward Family Photos.com, I swear I found her in a picture, and immediately e-mailed it to Tim.

So, in honor of said photo...

I think we took some really good photos too, but I think my sister just quickly e-mailed me these for my amusement.  That's ok, these are probably truer to real life anyway :)

Moving Day

So, last Tuesday we came back from vacation, that Friday we closed on our house, went on a marriage retreat that weekend, hosted a presenting couple for the retreat at the last minute, packed all week, and moved this weekend.  Phew!  That is how we roll...welcome to our craziness.  I didn't manage to remember to take any pictures of our amazing moving crew...who were AMAZING.  We had the truck back by 3pm.  Several friends made it possible and my dad came up and mowed our lawn this morning, since we have zero outdoor tools.  I did manage to capture some pictures of the moving messiness inside the house.

Remember when I told you about our crazy house hunting adventures?  Well the craziness is over!  We closed on our house today, are officially homeowners and the new adventure of being homeowners begins!
